Slane is a very charming little town near Newgrange, and I knew we were in Ireland for sure when we arrived here. Slane Castle is owned by a Lord of some kind who, although Protestant, is liked okay by the Catholic locals. He opens up the grounds periodically for exciting cultural events such as the recent 50 Cent/Eminem concert. Kevin took an amazing picture of a cow trying to eat its own ass in Slane. Yes, you read that correctly. Maybe I'll post it here if he shares it with me.
